The Economic Development Commission is comprised of a diverse group of individuals representing all sectors of the community: business, agriculture, First Nations, local government and the public. Our goal is simple, to increase business activity and build a strong local economy.
Our vibrant, unique and diversified business community contains all the assets and opportunities necessary to attract new business and promote balanced growth at a rate that will benefit all residents.
The
economic development function supports the business community to
improve the income and job prospects for current and future
residents, contributing to the productive economic life of our
community.
