Pemberton Economic Development Commission
The Economic Development Commission
consists of 9 representatives.
Established in 2006 to take advantage of 2010 Olympic opportunities and promote business opportunities in the Village of Pemberton (VoP) and Area C of the Squamish Lillooet Regional District (SLRD). Funding was established through a tax payer referendum.
The commission is made up of four regional government representatives:
- Two representatives from Village of Pemberton 'VoP' (Director & Alternate)
- Two representatives from Area C of the Squamish Lillooet Regional District or 'SLRD' (Director & Alternate)
And five directors-at-large who represent Pemberton & District:
